TJ Maxx announced today that over 45 million customers have had their credit card and personal information stolen after the company's servers were hacked.

The sheer scale of the breach is astounding, as is the fact that TJ Maxx have no idea of when the breach occured.

This is just another example of the fact that companys have not adapted their policies to ensure that customer data is properly protected. TJ Maxx should be fined, and forced to ensure their customers are tracked via services such as Experian to ensure that they are not the victims of fraud.
